1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RaffleGo ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

RaffleGo is a mobile application that facilitates prize raffles between organizers and participants. We provide the technology platform and escrow services but do not organize raffles ourselves.

2. Eligibility

To use RaffleGo, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
  • Comply with all local laws regarding raffles and prize draws in your jurisdiction

RaffleGo is not available in jurisdictions where online raffles are prohibited. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws.

3. Account Registration

To participate in raffles, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Raffle Participation

4.1 Purchasing Tickets

When you purchase raffle tickets:

  • All sales are final and non-refundable except as specified in our Refund Policy
  • Tickets are valid only for the specific raffle for which they were purchased
  • Each ticket represents one entry into the draw
  • Funds are held in escrow until the prize is delivered or a refund is issued

4.2 Draw Process

RaffleGo uses a provably fair draw system:

  • Draws are executed automatically when all tickets are sold
  • Winners are selected using publicly verifiable randomness from NIST Beacon and drand
  • RaffleGo does not generate or control the randomness used in draws
  • Draw results can be independently verified by any participant

5. Organizer Responsibilities

If you create raffles on RaffleGo, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions and images of prizes
  • Declare the true value of prizes
  • Ship prizes to winners within the specified timeframe
  • Maintain a security deposit as required by the Platform
  • Respond to winner communications and disputes promptly
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding prize fulfillment

RaffleGo reviews all raffles before approval but does not guarantee the accuracy of organizer-provided information.

6. Platform Fees

RaffleGo charges a tiered platform service fee based on the declared prize value:

  • 10% for prizes valued up to $1,000
  • 15% for prizes valued between $1,001 and $10,000
  • 20% for prizes valued above $10,000

The fee is automatically calculated and included in the ticket price. There are no hidden charges.

7. Escrow and Payment

All ticket sales are held in escrow:

  • Organizers cannot access funds until the winner confirms receipt of the prize
  • If a dispute is raised, funds remain frozen until resolution
  • Platform fees are deducted before funds are released to organizers
  • RaffleGo is not a bank and does not pay interest on held funds

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not use RaffleGo to:

  • Conduct raffles for cash prizes (physical prizes only)
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, or illegal activities
  • Create fake accounts or manipulate the draw process
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Circumvent platform security measures
  • Use automated systems to purchase tickets

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a winner and organizer:

  • Either party may raise a dispute through the Platform
  • Escrow funds are frozen during the dispute process
  • RaffleGo administrators will review evidence from both parties
  • RaffleGo's decision on disputes is final and binding

RaffleGo is not an insurance provider and cannot guarantee prize delivery. We enforce the process and hold funds in escrow to protect all parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • RaffleGo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for organizer actions, prize quality, or delivery issues
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to us
  • We are not responsible for losses due to unauthorized account access

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Continued use of RaffleGo after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
